Introducing “Rosengold”. Raised and produced by Hengststation Ahlers, Germany.
This stallion is simply beautiful both inside and out! Not only does dressage flow in his veins he also boasts the most incredible nature. Rosengold combines four of the best mare lines in Germany! Rosengold’s sire Rohdiamant and grandsire Rubinstein both competed successfully in Grand Prix as did Diamond Hit, Don Shufro and Donnerhall on his dam line. The full brother of his grandmother is also successful at Grand Prix. Last but not least his pedigree is rounded off by no less than 5 times stallion mother Eskoria.
Rosengold has himself been successful in sport from being crowned the Vice State Champion 4yo and qualifying for the Federal Championships as a 4 & 5yo. Rosengold has had a successful career to FEI level and is training Grand Prix.
Rosengold has already produced 3 licensed sons, many state premium daughters and young horse winners. Without exception all his foals have a dark coat with picturesque faces, long legs, elastic paces and his generous nature. Rosengold does not carry a red factor so cannot produce a chestnut!
Rosengold will be available for breeding from October 2017 by fresh and chilled semen.
Rohdiamant followed in the footsteps of his legendary sire Rubinstein I and became a foundation stallion on his own. He was born in 1990 at breeder Hans Francksen’s yard in Butjadingen, Germany. He was discovered by Gudula Vorwerk-Happ and Jochen Happ. He became the licensing champion and stood him up for stud until 2009 when Gestut Vorwerk was sold. Since then he has been standing at the Lodbergen Performance Centre.
Rohdiamant became a double Bundeschampion and was trained and competed up to Grand Prix level by for instance Nicole Uphoff and Lisa Wilcox. In 2010 he was ranked third on the WBFSH ranking.
Rohdiamant has produced a staggering amount of successful dressage horses: He has 50 licensed offspring, including Ron William, Rhodon, Rosenberg, Rosentanz, and Blue Hors Romanov. More than 100 offspring competed at S-level, including Responsible OLD/Helen Langehanenberg, Eremo del Castegno/Valentina Truppa/ITA and young rider’ horses Revino and Roman Nature/Angela Krooswijk/NED. Almost 90 of his daughters were State Premium Mares and daughter Reine Seide became Oldenburg Elite Mare Champion, while Romanika was Rhinelander Elite Mare Champion. Rohdiamant is also the dam sire of Victoria Max-Theurer’s Augustin OLD.
Rubinstein is considered one of the all time great sires and dressage competitors world wide. The double world champion and fourfold European champion was the world’s most successful dressage horse for a long time. His full-brother Amon also took part in the Olympic Games three times (if one includes Rotterdam in 1980) and was the most successful dressage horse of the Netherlands under Annemarie Sanders-Keyzar, where he was considered to be unbeatable for a long time, gaining the Dutch Championship title seven times. In October of 2000, Amon passed away at the ripe old age of 32 years. Then there is Rembrandt, the elegant dancer, who with Nicole Uphoff glided through the big dressage arenas of the world, enchanting the public with his fantastic agility. He won individual and team gold with his rider twice, making her the youngest Olympic champion of all times, breaking the sonic barrier of the magic 1500 points delimitation in 1990 and becoming world champion.
Rubinstein is known as a great improver for the breed. He consistently passes on his wonderful temperament and movement. The youngstock of Rubinstein are very popular with riders- both professional and amateur for their willingness to please.
Diamond Hit is an established hero among the international top sires – one of the performance-strongest offers from the parental home of Donnerhall. Diamond Hit is “purveyor“ for auction sites, Bundeschampionat and World Championships of young dressage horses. Every year, numerous offspring compete in Warendorf. The licensed son Donavan became Bundeschampion of four-year old stallions in Warendorf in 2005, his daughter Loxana was the sovereign champion at the Oldenburg Elite Broodmare show in Rastede, where ten Diamond Hit daughters were named StatePremium Mare. Diamantenbörse became Oldenburg Champion for three-year old riding horses and achieved the bronze medal at the World Championship for young dressage horses in 2008. In 2015 Diamond Hit presented the winning mare of the German Elite Broodmare Championships, named Donna Maria. With over 60 Licensed sons, Diamond Hit proves his genetic worth as a sire. The FN’s predicted breeding value statistics confirms in black and white: Diamond Hit is unchanged in the lead of all sires on national level with 146 points in 2015.
No less spectacular is Diamond Hit’s sporting career: In 2002 he became Vice World Champion and Vice Bundeschampion of five-year old dressage horses. A year before, he was Oldenburg Vice Champion and Vice Bundeschampion of four-year old stallions. At the 2001′ Bundeschampionat he was especially awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture for being the best licensed and performance-tested stallion. In 2005 he was proclaimed VTV-Dressage Stallion of the Year on the occasion of the Oldenburg Stallion Days. Then, he competed successfully up to international Grand Prix level.
Ex Libris was bred by the Dutch KWPN breeder Toine Hoefs and is by Elan xx out of keur mare Aphrodite (by Principaal x Juweel). The stallion made his fame in Germany though. He was licensed in Munster-Handorf in 1989 and became the 100-Day stallion Performance Test winner in Medingen, Germany, in 1991. He was initially stationed in the Oldenburg area.
Ex Libris produced four licensed offspring, including the 1997 Bundeschampion Exupery and the Carl Hester’s 2004 Olympic mount Escapado. Ex Libris’ daughters turned out to be outstanding brood mares and produced premium stallions Rubinero (by Rubinstein) and De Libris (by De Niro).
